Nancy Totland's love of the natural world... of wildflowers, landscapes, butterflies and birds... has led her to the medium of photography, capturing moments of beauty with the lens.
She experiences her photography as a celebration of this beautiful world and as a way of capturing the awe of nature and the magic of ephemeral moments.
Nancy grew up in Missouri, spending time on crystal clear Ozark streams. She worked on behalf of conservation and began a love affair with wildflowers and the prairie landscape. Nancy has lived in the Pacific Northwest, befriending mountains, seascapes, and cloudy days, and has spent time in the Southwest, inspired by the bare beauty of the high desert.
With the boundless encouragement of far flung friends and family, and their desire to share and support Nancy’s experience, what began as a means of chronicling an adventure has blossomed into this collection.
May these images bring joy and enhance appreciation of our beautiful world.
